Tall Johns House Terms & Conditions

MAKING A BOOKING We require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the venue hire at the time of booking ( for either the Manor House exclusive use, B & B or the self-catering cottages) unless the booking is less than 1 month from the date of arrival when we request a 50% deposit. The remaining venue charge and any extras will be payable one month before your stay/event start date. For Exclusive Use stays in the Manor House, a £500 bond will also be added to your final invoice. For the cottages this will be £100 for Honeysuckle Cottage and £50 for The Coachmans. This will be refunded to you unless we are in a position where we need to cover the cost of any damage caused during your stay. For example, damages or breakages or non-compliance with agreed terms. The initial portions of your booking can be paid by cash, credit/debit card or BACS. The final balance will include any meals and any last- minute extras and must be paid for before departure from Tall John’s House at the end of your stay by cash or debit/credit card. Receipt of your deposit will confirm your booking.

VARIATIONS TO BOOKINGS Changes in numbers - It is the responsibility of the client to provide details of numbers attending the event when requested to do so. Final numbers should be provided a minimum of seven working days before the event. Should you want to increase numbers after this time it will be solely at the discretion of Tall John’s House as to whether any increase will be permitted. Should you wish to postpone your event, and you inform us at least 12 months before the original date, then your full deposit can be transferred to another date. If your new date falls in a period where the prices are higher, you will pay the new higher price for that period.
