A smaller, more intimate wedding venue
Our beautiful manor house, with its splendid grounds and gardens, is a wonderful place to stay with a group of friends but is also perfect for a smaller wedding.
Our lovely Granary in the grounds of the manor house is ideal for a simpler, more intimate wedding with small numbers.
The manor house, granary and our gazebo in the garden, are licensed for civil ceremonies and the Granary, with its swathed beams and mezzanine level is also the perfect place for a party!
We offer a wedding package which includes:
The Granary for your reception, party and or ceremony for up to 50 guests
Accommodation for one night in the Manor House for up to 16 guests with breakfast
Absolutely exclusive use of the grounds and gardens for the wedding day
Tables and chairs in the Granary for the ceremony and meal
One night in The Coachmans (our private cottage) for the wedding couple
As always, we are trying to be as flexible as possible, and so you can add to the package in many different ways – these include:
A second night in the Manor House for up to 16 guests
An extra night in The Coachmans
Accommodation in our 4 double-bedroomed Honeysuckle Cottage
Extra guests in the Manor House
Catering in the Manor House the night before the wedding
Catering for the wedding breakfast

There are many reasons couples choose a smaller celebration for their wedding day. Of course budget can be a factor, but many couples enjoy a cosier and more intimate feel to their day, and here at Tall John’s we can make that happen for you.
Intimate weddings are available all year round but only mid-week between May and October inclusive.
But we still believe in our mantra Your Day Your Way – so we will be leaving the choices to you to make the wedding your own style.
