Coachman's Cottage

Coachman’s is a self-contained cottage providing a beautifully decorated and spacious bedroom with a super king bed that can also be divided to make twin beds. The handcrafted tongue-and-groove woodwork, the glowing wooden floor and the soft grey and gentle blue colour palette lend the whole room a feeling of tranquility and romance. The en suite high-spec bathroom with bath and power shower is completed by plenty of large, fluffy towels, soaps, and hair-dryer.

The generous windows make the room very light and the outside door onto an intimate balcony overlooking the valley and the Black Mountains beyond adds to the charm of this special little cottage.

The open plan downstairs living area has cosy seating with a TV in front of the log burner. There is a small kitchen and dining area, perfectly sized for two people.

The Coachman’s Cottage has its own private parking is right outside..

This is the perfect location for walking, hiking, golf, horse-riding, canoeing, climbing and also visiting the many local places of interest. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of the country and the beautiful night skies as there is no noise or light pollution. This is truly a romantic getaway for two!

We are happy to deliver home-cooked meals to the cottage ready for you to heat and serve. Please let our team know well in advance if this is something you would like provided.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome by arrangement, but please only downstairs and not on the furniture. If you plan to leave your dog alone in the cottage, we require that it is kept in a secure dog cage . Please pick up their messes in the garden and be aware that there are other dogs around so we advise you to keep yours on a lead at all times if it is unsociable!

There is free Wi-Fi available and we can provide a breakfast basket including all of the basics for a complete breakfast for 2 at a cost of £15. All bed linen, towels and kitchen tea-towels are provided. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, iron and hair dryer.
