Alternative Accommodation for Weddings
One of the questions our couples ask very often is, how much local accommodation is there for our guests? At Tall John’s House we can sleep over 30 in the manor house and self-catering cottages, and we have an assortment of local B&Bs on our Suppliers List. Now we have also joined forces with a bell tent business called “Untangled Collaboration”. We have the wonderful location in our fields in front of the house, and they have everything else! No need for taxis, no hassle and a romantic stay. The sort of people who enjoy our blank canvas, do-your-own-thing wedding venue, will also have friends who want the same thing from their accommodation!
It’s nice to know who you are dealing with and so here is a short synopsis of how Untangled was born….
Untangled Collaboration
The enthusiasm for the bell tent business was born when Pembrokeshire-based Tom Evans acquired his first bell tent at Glastonbury in 2018.
He loved the space and the freedom inside to create a home from home, whether at a festival or on the side of a mountain in Pembrokeshire.
He started adding to his collection, scouring vintage shops, charity shops and even soukhs in Morocco to find character-bursting furniture and little nick nacks that brought the whole ‘home from home’ concept together.
He was looking to build on this foundation of freedom that you can camp out, but with comfort, when he bumped into Ang (also Pembrokeshire based) in Glastonbury 2019. In the following months, Tom & Ang (Tang) launched Untangled.
They offer boutique bell tent options for private parties and events, from wedding, birthday parties or even kids sleepover parties. The packages run from an ‘empty shell’ package to a beautifully furnished tents with memory foam topped beds, battery lighting, bedside tables, seating and colourful rugs.
Together they’ve built Untangled with a vision of being the backdrop to each individual event.
They share a love for interior creativity and design, making unique memories and an overwhelming urge to make people smile.
