Just got engaged? Wondering where on earth to start with organising and planning a wedding? Its one of the happiest moments of your life and you’re on cloud nine but it can also be one of the most stressful… Take a deep breath and just breathe.
This is YOUR day
The first thing to remember is this is YOUR wedding day. Its about you. The two of you. So you can stop worrying about what your friend from school had for her flowers, or what your third cousin chose for her canapes or whether your future mother in law will disapprove of your wedding dress. This day, for the first and last time possibly in your life is all about you guys so who cares what anyone else thinks of your service or your first dance - enjoy the opportunity to have a day that is personal and individual and the best part- unique.
At Tall Johns Weddings we give you all the freedom you want to make this day whatever you want it to be. A wedding barn in the Brecon beacons that is exceptionally beautiful- limestone floors, stunning exposed beams, ancient arrow slit windows with spotlights illuminating every alcove and every curve of the stunning architecture. But most importantly it’s a blank canvass wedding venue- which means you get to create whatever you want within its walls. Hang bunting, cover the ancient beams in your favourite flowers, drape majestic silk from the rafters… be bold, be brave- just do it. Whether you want chairs or benches, round tables or trestles, light up dance floor or home-made rustic bars- if you want it, have it.
And whether you’re a wedding on a budget or you have all the cash in the world to throw at this, it doesn’t matter. We won’t constrain you with our own set suppliers, or our own packages. If you want caviar and champagne all day then knock yourselves out, but if you’d prefer a hog roast and your auntie’s best cupcakes to set you on your way then that’s fine with us.
If you’re not sure you’re the sort of couple that want to do it all themselves then not to worry- the barn is so draw-dropping, so beautifully lit and so elegantly finished that untouched it is enough to take your breath away. We have a selective list of recommended, trusted suppliers (if we wouldn’t use them ourselves, we don’t recommend them to you) that you can dip into to make your life easier and save you doing all the research yourself. Or we are more than happy to help make some suggestions and get the ball rolling for you. We will NEVER tell you how to have your big day, but we are on stand by if you need us.
