If you talk sense, People listen

Here at Tall John’s House we are hosting a retreat for Handling-Change in November and this is the nitty-gritty of their expertise.

Handling Change is a highly experienced training and wellbeing organisation.

They were established with one clear goal: to make a positive influence on behaviour by developing ‘key skills for life’.

An innovative company, offering a wide range of targeted wellbeing and ergonomic solutions, Handling Change works with a number of leading international organisations, providing discreet, bespoke and tailored training across multiple sectors. Working in partnership with businesses, they are able to identify and resolve all your handling issues whether based around the use of equipment, work place layouts, construction design or just simply moving things from ‘A to B’.

Actually during the retreat at Tall John’s House Handling-Change will be doing something rather different – they will be concentrating on knitting together a team of talented people who are perhaps good at and used to working on their own. Their task is to meld them into a unit who work well together and are stronger together than as individuals. An important part of the goal is to teach each person to appreciate the strengths and talents of other members of the team.

This is not just something for the participants to use in the short term but a life skill that they can take away and use throughout their careers. This expertise is designed to stay with the team – not just after they’ve left the site, but years down the line.

They pride themselves on being different to their competitors, because they talk common sense – see the title of this piece! They have a unique style of training and engaging with your workforce without resorting to jargon.

Simply put, Handling-Change believe that if you talk sense, people listen. If you talk nonsense, they don’t!

Tall John’s House is very much looking forward to working with them. We are very much hoping to learn something as well!
