Wedding Magazines
Most of us can be categorized by what we enjoy reading – for some its books, others its mostly newspapers and for others its magazines.
But once a couple get engaged even the most avid book or newspaper reader who normally never buys a magazine cannot resist the temptation to buy a good selection of wedding magazines and get stuck in. And why not?
Well actually there are a many very good reasons to buy wedding magazines when you are planning your big day:-
You are sure to be offered some really generous gifts and special offers on things you are going to want for your wedding day.
There will be information on wedding fairs and when they are being held and where.
Good wedding magazines have features and, particularly if you take them for a few consecutive months, you will see things that interest you.
Particularly if you buy a local wedding magazine, you will find out about local suppliers and venues that perhaps you were not aware of.
Certainly you will find some unusual and different topics and suggestions which, although they may not be to your taste, will set you thinking.
Their detractors will say that many of the better-known magazines will have a lot of advertisements in them. I don’t see what is wrong with this if those advertisements are relevant to weddings. You will often see a venue, a dress supplier, a hair stylist that you hadn’t thought of and it is handed to you on a plate – website, telephone number etc.
It may well be that the book and newspaper readers amongst us will not continue to buy magazines once their own wedding is completed but don’t you think it is all part of the fun? They are not expensive and if they give us some good ideas or even a good laugh don’t you think that is money well spent?
