The Tall John’s House team are really pleased to welcome Gail Smith for her “Yoga as Mind- Body Wellbeing Brecon Beacons Retreat “ from 11th - 14th April This is her 5th year offering Yoga for Mind - Body Wellbeing retreats.
It started in the beautiful hillsides of Umbria. Since then she’s ventured to Kerala, walked some of the Atlantic coastline while on retreat in Cornwall, magical India drew her back again for a two centre retreat to Kerala and Goa and in 2018, the stunning island of Mykonos called.
In this celebratory 5th year, her spring retreat takes place with us at Tall John’s House. This elegant Georgian manor house is located in the beautiful Llangorse Lake Valley, in the very heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park - it really is the perfect place to retreat. The wonderful new wedding barn provides the perfect space for our yoga sessions.
The 3 night retreat aims to help you press that restart button and put a spring back into your step. There will be morning yoga to focus on bringing balance to a stressed and overactive nervous system, postural alignment for general wellbeing & mood stabilisation and sequences to help boost energy, improve flexibility and strength. Our evening sessions combine gentle mindful movement, myofacial release, simple breathwork and guided relaxation to activate the relaxation response, reduce stress, improve digestion, enhance immunity and promote emotional well- being.
Yoga is inherently therapeutic and the benefits of practicing are extensive. Yoga for Mind- Body wellbeing takes what we know about the benefits of yoga,and tweaks it to help it be more effective in relation to the stresses created by our modern lifestyles.

Thursday : Welcome class 6pm - 7 pm
Friday & Saturday morning class 9.30 am - 11.30 am
Friday & Saturday evening Class 5.30.00 - 6.30 pm
Sunday morning class : 8.00 - 9.30 am, will allow for check out of your room by 10am.
