Why Visit A Wedding Fair?
Even if you have very definite ideas about where you are going to celebrate your wedding and have most of the planning decided in your mind, it is a really good idea to take a look at what’s on offer and one of the most convenient ways to do this is to visit a few wedding fairs.
The biggest wedding fairs – and I am talking HUGE – are in large spaces like the NEC in Birmingham or Olympia in London. These big operations will charge you entry but you will get a lot for your fee. But many venues also open their doors for wedding fairs and so you can kill two birds with one stone and see a venue – a hotel, barn, castle – and see what suppliers are around and get some ideas. These smaller outfits seldom charge you entry and have the charm of being less crowded and more personal.
Why take the time to visit a wedding fair or two?
As I said before – convenience and time-saving. Lots of suppliers and ideas in one visit.
Broaden your vision. It’s very tempting to stick with what you know – what your sister did or your best friend. Sometimes you need to see new things to have the courage to try them.
You can get some bargains. Suppliers often offer a special price if you book them at the wedding fair.
Goody bags! Not to be sniffed at… sometimes full of nice things and certainly lots of information too.
You can actually speak to a real person and this is so helpful. You get the feeling of someone if you see them face-to-face and this is important whether it is the venue your are choosing, the caterer, the florist.. whatever.
Here at Tall John’s House we would like you to invite you to our very first Wedding Fair! It is being held on Sunday 3rd March from 11am to 3pm and we would love to see you here! You could make a weekend of it and stay in the Brecon Beacons to enjoy the spring weather!
